Dear PVH leadership,
I am writing as a concerned supporter of ethical leadership and corporate responsibility to raise an issue regarding board accountability.
It has come to my attention that Amanda Sourry, who is on the board of PVH Corp., also serves on the board of Kroger, a company that has faced significant public concern over its decision to step back from its cage-free egg commitment. As a result, millions of hens remain confined to wire cages so small they can’t even spread their wings. This decision has drawn criticism from customers, investors, and advocates who expect companies to uphold meaningful animal welfare standards.
When individuals are linked to decisions that contradict established sustainability commitments, particularly those that reverse public promises, it calls into question the organization’s credibility and its genuine commitment to ethical business practices.
I respectfully urge PVH to review this situation and to cut ties with Ms. Sourry.
Accountability at the leadership level is essential for maintaining trust and demonstrating a genuine commitment to ethical business practices.
